Camp Village, Inc., a 501 c(3) nonprofit organization established Spring, 2002 with a mission to inspire youth to change the world. Determined to make a difference one child at a time, Camp Village, Inc., in almost twenty years, has touched the lives of over 5,000 children and youth. We truly believe, “It takes a whole village to raise a child.” That is why we have devoted professionals, retired teachers, retired principals, counselors, business professionals and many volunteers who are providing quality services for their growth and development. The 4 Divisions in The Village provides exposure to a multitude of activities including a Jr. Apprentice Training Program and a Performing/Visual Arts Academy where they are learning skills year-round while enjoying lifelong experiences that will have a positive impact in their lives and in their communities.
Summer Program
At The Village, we prioritize a low counselor-to-child ratio of 3-5, ensuring that every child receives the individualized attention they deserve, especially those with special needs. Our commitment extends beyond the children; we also mentor our youth counselors, equipping them with essential life skills to support their future endeavors, alongside parent advocacy training. Serving youth from grade school through college, we offer a variety of engaging activities designed to foster growth and development. Join us in creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive!
Afterschool & Summer
Welcome to the Jr. Apprentice Training Programs, where we empower students to break the cycle of disadvantage through financial and entrepreneurial training. Our Village IMAGE Printing business allows students aged 14 through college to design, create, produce, market, and sell clothing lines to various organizations, including sororities, family reunions, and schools. Additionally, our C.A.U.S.E for Elegance program offers students aged 10 to 24 hands-on training and workshops led by industry mentors in 35 disciplines. All proceeds from our sales support Camp Village, Inc., a proud 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving and empowering our community.
Afterschool & Summer
Welcome to The Village Performing & Visual Arts Academy! We offer year-round casting calls and assignments for all ages in licensed productions like Disney’s Lion King Experience and The Wiz. Our students collaborate with industry professionals, gaining hands-on experience in various production roles, from directing to set design. This unique opportunity not only nurtures their artistic talents but also fosters essential skills such as discipline, confidence, and organization, paving the way for academic success across all subjects.
